Alabama Transportation Legislation
The TPRC tracks transportation-related legislation presented during each session. In addition, annual legislative summaries are compiled for each year.
The TPRC plays a central role at the Alabama Transportation Institute, offering valuable services to communities such as policy and economic impact analysis, assistance with state and federal grant applications, researching legislative best practices, and identifying funding mechanisms for construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure.
Our work directly impacts rural and underserved communities through research in the areas of equity and access, education and workforce, and rural transit and shared mobility. TPRC routinely communicates and interprets these findings to the public and policymakers in Alabama.
